The Hybrid Intelligence Consortium Meeting brought together members at Buitengewoon Loetje Amsterdam aan ‘t IJ for two productive days of collaboration, updates, and insightful discussions.

Key Highlights:

• Matrix development: A significant focus was placed on updates to the Matrix, aligning PhD and postdoctoral projects.

• Keynote: Vitaliy Popov, Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan, delivered an engaging keynote interactive keynote on multiple aspects of his research with the m-TEAM.

• PhD presentations: Research progress was shared by multiple PhD candidates, including Jonne Maas, Nicole Orzan, Bram Renting, Niklas Höpner, Tiffany Matej, and Giacomo.

• Collaboration opportunities: Sessions on mentoring, mobility, and research visits, as well as a city escape activity for PhD/PDs.

• Planning for the Future: Faculty members engaged in speed-dating to find co-supervisors and discussed projects for the 3rd and 4th cohorts, ensuring a strong pipeline of innovative research.
