The EB members shared their “hopes and dreams,” which led to key themes and concrete examples during our 14th consortium meeting in Noordwijk. We asked for input to refine and expand these ambitions. The goal is to ensure that the HI consortium moves beyond aspirations and concerns to deliver tangible methods, metrics, and technologies that enhance the “HI-ness” of AI systems. These outcomes should be validated both theoretically (e.g., with safety guarantees or performance benchmarks) and empirically in real-world contexts with active stakeholder involvement.

The core question explored was: What should the HI consortium deliver by the end of the project, and how high should our ambitions reach?
