We are excited to share that Cor Steging has successfully defended his PhD at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen! His thesis, titled “Designing Responsible Artificial Intelligence: Hybrid Approaches for Aligning Learning and Reasoning,” was completed under the guidance of Bart Verheij and Silja Renooij.

We congratulate Cor on this major achievement and the members of his PhD committee and workshop participants who contributed to this milestone.

Looking ahead, we’re pleased that Cor will continue advancing his research on responsible AI as a postdoctoral researcher at the Hybrid Intelligence Centre.
