Feline Lindeboom Named One of This Year’s KNAW Faces of Science
Feline Lindeboom, PhD candidate at the University of Groningen, has been selected as one of the new Faces of Science by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW). As part of this initiative, twelve young researchers from across the academic spectrum will offer a behind-the-scenes look at their work and life as early-career scientists.
Feline’s research focuses on computational social choice theory, exploring how algorithms can support large-scale deliberation—decision-making processes where people engage in structured discussion to reach collective conclusions. Her work lies at the intersection of theoretical computer science and economics, where she designs and analyses algorithms that can fairly summarise group opinions.
Through blogs, videos, and presentations Feline will share insights into her research and life as a young scientist. The Hybrid Intelligence Center congratulates Feline on this recognition and looks forward to following her contributions to the public understanding of hybrid intelligence and algorithmic decision-making.
