Maarten de Rijke becomes ACM Fellow
Maarten de Rijke of the Informatics Institute and a member of the Information Retrieval Lab (IRLab) at the University of Amsterdam, becomes an ACM Fellow, one of the highest honors in the computing field. Recognized for his contributions to information retrieval and leadership in public-private research collaborations in computer science, he is among the few researchers in The Netherlands to receive this honour. The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) selected 55 Fellows for 2024, acknowledging their transformative contributions to computing science and technology. The 2024 Fellows represent institutions worldwide, and they will be formally recognized at the ACM Awards Banquet on June 14, 2025, in San Francisco. Read more
