Taewoon Kim
I’m Taewoon Kim, a PhD researcher at VU Amsterdam. The title of my project is “A Machine With Human-Like Memory Systems”. My research is about training a reinforcement learning agent that has human-like memory systems (e.g., episodic and semantic), where each memory system is modeled with a knowledge graph. I expect that such machines can work with humans in collaborative settings, by complementing each other’s memories, and thus achieving hybrid intelligence. I’m supervised by Michael Cochez (VU), Vincent François-Lavet (VU), Mark Neerincx (TU Delft), and Frank van Harmelen (VU).
